Madhu Damodaran is a seasoned employment and labour law professional with over two decades of experience advising businesses on workforce regulations, labour compliance, industrial relations, and employment strategy. He has worked extensively with multinational corporations and leading Indian enterprises, helping them navigate complex regulatory frameworks and evolving workplace challenges.
Madhu is widely recognised for his expertise in labour law compliance, policy advocacy, and technology-driven compliance solutions. He is the founder of Simpliance, India's first digital labour law compliance platform, and has held leadership roles with organisations including Quess Corp, TeamLease, Volvo India, and Convergys.
He currently serves as a Board Member of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and actively contributes to key industry bodies, including CII, EFI, and ISF, where he engages in policy discussions and labour law reforms. His practice focuses on delivering pragmatic, business-oriented solutions that align legal compliance with organisational objectives.
